To Have More, Become More: A New Blueprint for Success
Presenter:
Marianne Talbot, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, Bailey & Glasser
Program Points of Emphasis:
The focus of the program “To Have More, Become More” starts with the question: who do you need to be to get what you want? This program is for ambitious professionals—if you’re comfortable where you are and aspire to nothing else, this isn’t for you. The analysis I’ll cover in my breakout applies to anyone—yourself, the professionals you work with, even your family. I’ve created a new paradigm of success that puts together pieces in ways you likely haven’t seen or thought about before.
One Desired Takeaway for Attendees:
You’ll understand in a whole new way what elements are required to create success and where you rate related to the foundation that must be there. You can’t build a luxury home on quicksand, right? In this program, you’ll get a new understanding of the internal foundational pieces (there are four) that must be in place to get what you want. The paradigm will also help you understand all the people around you and why they are getting what they want—or why they aren’t. Lawyers included.
What Attendees Can Expect:
It will be a mix—it will be interactive, there will be time for self-reflection using a worksheet, and I’ll also do a bit of lecturing.
Other Thoughts:
I’m passionate about collaborating with professionals to get them where they want to go as quickly as they want to move—IF they want to actually move (people sometimes say they want to change things but never actually do—we’ve all seen this). This program will highlight some of the tools I’ve studied, created, and used over the years as a lawyer, entrepreneur, coach, legal marketing professional, law professor, author (I wrote a book for women lawyers called “Balance by Design: A Career Guide & Planner for Women Lawyers with a Life”), and more. My husband affectionately calls me a “beast” because I study and work with great velocity and intensity, and I’ll be sharing tools culled from many years of my vocation.
I look forward to an engaged, thought-provoking, and inspired session! Thanks for inviting me to be part of this year’s program.
