Letter from the Editor

After two years and eight issues, my tenure as editor of our newsletter has now reached its conclusion.

We’re going out with a bang by highlighting the “Best of 2023,” featuring articles regarding the year’s most notable developments and a look at the innovations that earned LMA Your Honor Awards, while also reprinting some of the year’s most popular articles from prior issues.

It has been a privilege to collaborate closely with my colleague Aileen Hinsch on the newsletter every quarter, and to edit the amazing contributions we have received from our authors since early 2021, covering topics ranging from hybrid work and the great resignation to marketing the marketer and the extremely popular topic of artificial intelligence. (Spoiler alert: AI is mentioned almost immediately in this quarter’s newsletter, too.)

Thanks to Aileen, our esteemed presidents (Terra Liddell and my awesome new colleague Katie Burke), and all of our contributors for helping our newsletter evolve these past 24 months. Together we have introduced a new format, new features, a new title, and new visuals and branding, and I am excited for the new team in charge to take our newsletter to the next level.
