About the Winning Projects

Small Firm/Solo Marketer: Stone Pigman

We were pleased to recognize Stone Pigman in this category for their video project. Following a rebrand that launched in January 2022, the firm started to think about what was the next project to strengthen the firm's external messaging and convey who they are as a firm. They decided to create video content for social media and the website.

Stone Pigman's video project successfully demonstrated through an external branding strategy that they have a firm foundation behind them and are moving forward and continually evolving to provide the best service to their clients for many years to come.

Mid-Sized Firm: Dykema

We were pleased to recognize Dykema in this category for their Business Builder App. This app is an on-the-go resource built specifically for Dykema attorneys to help increase their business development knowledge, both externally and internally, and ultimately, keep business development top of mind and provide them a leg up on the competition.

About the Class of 2023 Rising Stars

Courtney Keller has masterfully handled her role as the New Orleans-Baton Rouge Local Steering Committee Chair. Spearheading the first local New Orleans-Baton Rouge CMO panel since prior to the pandemic is no small feat, and the program had a packed house. Courtney has also been a welcoming, steady face to the many new members of the New Orleans-Baton Rouge local group as well as diligently supported broader LMA Southwest initiatives. When the LMA Southwest Regional Conference went virtual due to COVID, Courtney was instrumental at helping execute on Region communications. Her standout leadership and willingness to serve make Courtney well-positioned for a bright future - both at LMA and at her firm.

Louise Vallejos is a dedicated professional who takes on tasks willfully. She has taken on leadership responsibility at the local level and positioned the team in the NOLA/BR LSC for success for years to come. She is also slated as the Director-at-Large for Sponsorships for the Southwest Regional Board for 2024-2025. She is described by her peers as smart, dedicated, diligent, attentive and detail oriented, and she is always willing to take on new projects and assist in any way she can.

Abby Wright’s career in the legal industry began just over two years ago, and it has been nothing short of impressive. Her dedication to learning, personal growth and making a positive impact in the legal industry is inspiring. This year, she joined the New Orleans/Baton Rouge LSC and helped support the local group's membership efforts. She is committed to growing the local legal community and giving back to the organization that has given her so much in the short time she's been in the industry. Looking ahead, Abby has no intention of slowing down. She plans to continue her involvement with LMA through her LSC and eventually at the regional level. With her drive and enthusiasm, there's no doubt that Abby will have a positive impact on the industry. She is truly "one to watch."
