2023 LOCAL STEERING COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES

Are you interested in volunteering for LMA? The LMA West Region's Local Steering Committees have several opportunities for you to serve. There are many reasons to get involved – from giving back to the organization, to expanding your leadership skills, gaining industry knowledge, and creating an international professional network and lifelong friends.

We have opportunities to serve on the 2023 Local Steering Committees (LSC) in the Northwest, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Southern California. Available positions on the 2023 Local Steering Committees include:

Vice Chair
Member At Large (Programs/Events, Membership, Operations)

To be eligible for a position, a candidate must be a member in good standing and a member of LMA and the Local/Region for at least one year. 

We are looking for members who will bring creativity and passion to the planning and implementation of key initiatives that will help advance the Locals and Region.

Board terms begin on January 1, 2023, and run for one, two or three years depending on the position. To begin the application process for consideration on your Local Steering Committee, please complete the 
Local Steering Committee Candidate Application.  Your Candidate Application must be submitted by 5:00PM PT on September 30, 2022.
