  • Some encouraging findings

    I am encouraged by a few findings recently, beyond the LMA marketing survey that was in the last Strategies issue.  I receive BtoB Magazine's daily e-newlsetters and have been reading some survey results I think we as a group of marketers may find interesting.

    First, the results of BtoB's "2009 Marketing Priorities and Plans" survey of 211 b-to-b marketing folks show that only 25% plan to cut budgets, while 31.1% are increasing budgets and 43.5% of the marketers are keepign the budgets flat.  See the article at http://www.btobonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081208/FREE/812089997/1108/FREE

    I know as well as anyone how different law firms are from the rest of the galaxy but news like this makes much more business sense than when the tech bubble burst and several legal marketers pulled up stakes.  If I had a dollar for all the dollars that left the company back then......
