The Los Angeles Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA-LA) is soliciting proposals for presentations for the 2011 program year. Our programming attracts between 50-100 professionals, including senior marketers and attorneys.
For 2011, we are dedicated to bringing the highest level of programming to our members, and we are looking for new, cutting-edge ideas--whether on new or old topics--and dynamic, engaging speakers who will bring a fresh perspective and can challenge our members to think differently and strategically.
Topics can include (but are not limited to) competitive intelligence, business development, professional development, leadership, public relations and technology.
Proposals should include the following information:
1. Presenter's contact information and biography (including relevant experience) for everyone involved in the presentation;
2. References (individuals who have either heard the specific presentation before or can vouch for you as a dynamic speaker);
3. Title and presentation abstract;
4. Educational objectives (what will attendees learn from the presentation);
5. Specific takeaways (what will attendees be able to implement at their own firms as a result of the presentation).
Programs are held monthly, typically from noon to 1:30 p.m. at a location in Los Angeles. Presentations should be formatted to one hour in length (including Q&A).
