  • Greetings to all the Solo and Small Firms Shared Interest Group members!

We have more than 140 in our group now and it continues to grow. I would like to bring to your attention a couple of things. We do have a forum on the page where members can ask topical questions and discuss solutions. Topics have included:

    • Holiday Gift Debrief (Dec 27, 2012 09:52 AM)
    • White Collar Criminal Defense (Dec 14, 2012 11:41 AM)
    • Year In Review (Oct 23, 2012 11:58 AM)
    • LMA - Welcome to the Small Firm/Solo Marketer SIG eDiscussion Group (Oct 15, 2012 06:28 PM)
    • Question re: holiday e-greeting (Sep 25, 2012 06:04 PM)
    • Beneficial Law Firm Associations (Aug 13, 2012 06:53 PM)
    • Smaller Firms - Survey on Marketing Function (Jul 11, 2012 12:03 PM)
    • Quick-Favorite perk of working at a small firm? (Jul 06, 2012 04:11 PM)
    • Attorney Departure (Jul 06, 2012 02:41 PM)
    • The Lawyer Network (May 09, 2012 12:22 PM)

We also have a discussion forum where Kamela Barrier, Director, Client Services & Communications posted this request:

We are reviewing and analyzing our need to move into a centralized database environment and I'd like to gather some feedback from the group here on what you are currently using.

I'd be interested in understanding what you use, why you chose it and if it has fulfilled those needs.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.  It's greatly appreciated.

Finally we are politicizing form and templates solo and small firms can use without having to recreate the wheel. Many of the forms are copyright protected, some are not. Regardless, they can give you a great place to start internal practices such as individual marketing plans, or set up your public relations with confidence.

We hope to do at least one webinar a quarter this year so please let me know what is keeping you awake at night! The question we want all our attorneys to ask their clients. It will make our programming targeted to your concerns and hopefully bring you the answers you long to hear.

It’s hard to be out there alone, so now know you are not! This forum is exactly for your support and education. Welcome and keep the feedback coming!
