Two weeks ago we moved to a new website platform. We are excited about this move for many reasons, primarily the benefits that chapters will now be able to tap into (blogs, listservs, newsletter templates, event registration, etc.) On our old system, you subscribed to our LMA Connect email discussion group for Industry Announcements. With the release of our new website, some of the features have changed, thus, we wanted to give you a heads up on the new look for this discussion group.
In this new system, you can reply to the group via e-mail, rather than having to log into the system to reply. It’s a true listserv. Thus, please note that with the new system, if you hit Reply, the message will go to everyone. If you want to reply to an individual person, please forward to their email address. So please "Reply All" judiciously.
Additionally, to change your settings, log into www.legalmarketing.org > For Members > LMA Connect Discussions > eGroups Topical Discussions. Each eGroup has its own category that you can subscribe to and control your settings. The default on the discussion groups is for a Digest version. If you would like to get e-mails as they come in, you can make that change in your settings for each group.

When moving over to our new platform, we were able to continue your subscriptions, but not your settings. Thus, if you want to go back to the ‘email as they come’ format, follow the instructions noted to make and save your settings.
As with any launch of a website, there are always small details that arise after the launch that need to be addressed. This is one of them. Thank you so much for your patience while we sort things out and learn together about these fine details. We are excited about this new platform and will continue to rollout information to our members and chapter leaders on the benefits available to you.
