Good Morning Service Provider Sig Members,
As the annual conference is just one short week away, I wanted to send a quick update with a couple items regarding our group.
First, our monthly meeting last week was a great success. Aric Press, SVP Editor in Chief of ALM, presented on the state of the market and addressed issues that service providers could help their law firm clients overcome, and succeed. We will be posting the webinar and his slides on the SIG page on the LMA website.
Second, we launched a survey to in-house marketers on a number of topics that will help us as service providers better manage our relationships, and will identify key opportunities and some key no-no's for approaching them. We've also asked about potential areas of spend/interest and overall needs. The survey is still open - but we've already received over 200 responses so I'm very excited to crunch the numbers and share the results at our next webinar call (tentatively scheduled for May 8, at 1:00 PM eastern time). Look for an official outlook invitation from Chris.
Lastly, there are several opportunities for us to all get together next week. First, please swing by the ALM booth so I can meet you in person if we haven't already. Second, during lunch on Thursday and Friday we will have a table reserved for our SIG. I know it's important to sit and network with your customers, but we'll have the table anyway if you want to stop and say hello. Finally, we will have an exhibitor wrap up on Friday afternoon in the exhibit hall after the show closes. That's a great forum for new ideas and to share what worked and what we might consider doing differently next year.
