Remember to Submit Your Nominations for the 2018 LMA Eastern Canada Regional Board of Directors

On behalf of the 2016-2017 LMA Eastern Canada Regional Board, we invite you to nominate yourself or candidates of your choice, for the following Regional Governing Board positions available in 2018:

 

  • President-elect (3 year commitment: President-Elect in 2018, President in 2019, Immediate Past President in 2020)
  • Treasurer-elect (2 year commitment: Treasurer-Elect in 2018, Treasurer in 2019)
  • Three Directors-at-large (2 year commitment)


Next Steps – Regional Nominations


To begin the Regional Governing Board nominating process, please review the Regional Eligibility Criteria and Job Descriptions. If you satisfy the criteria for this nomination, then complete the online Regional Expression of Interest Form. Expressions of Interest for Regional Governing Board positions are due to the LMA by Tuesday, August 1st at 12:00 PM (CT).


Nominating committees will verify eligibility, interview candidates and references, and put forth a slate for ratification by the membership. 


You may be wondering what it’s like to serve on the board – the time commitment, workload, and ultimate benefits to you as an individual. We encourage you to reach out to any current member of the Eastern Canada Regional Board to ask these questions.
