Eloise at The Plaza was supplanted by LMA at The Plaza. The chapter’s CMO SIG was hosted by The Plaza Hotel for its annual night out on July 29. Some 20 SIG members were treated to a variety of hospitality and delicacies, first at the new Todd Mitchell Food Hall downstairs, then in the signature Palm Court and finally a nightcap with live music in the legendary Rose Club. The event, organized by SIG leaders Despina Kartson and Dawn Gertz Longfield, evoked exceptionally enthusiastic kudos from the SIG attendees.
The evening provided a great opportunity for the CMO SIG members to get together socially and talk about more than just law firm marketing, though that subject was much discussed too. The Plaza’s generous hosts - Director of Client Development, Rob Arango, and Director of Hospitality, Maureen Farley - provided warm personal greetings and left a lasting impression that The Plaza would be an impressive site for a wide range of external law firm events.
