LMASE Board of Directors Spotlight: Chad Rothschild, Director of Communications
Now that the Regional Conference has come to a close, I think I can speak for everyone that is was AMAZING. Amy Norris, Ali Ferro & Caroline Yarborough did a fantastic job with the rest of the committee.
I headed up the communications for the conference along with two wonderful committee members. Raven Hicks, Marketing Manager at Teague Campbell and Ashley Howerton, Marketing Manager, Technology at Bass Berry & Sims.
Leading up to the conference, it was a 12 week sprint. We used the website that Creative Mischief built as our foundation of communications, with social media & email as our backbone of engagement. Our goal was to create engagement through visual communications to really feel a part of the conference while highlighting the educational components with key take-aways and high valued information.
2017 LMA Regionalization brought some unique challenges to communications along with opportunities. We have heard from members that they want to feel more connected to their local groups. In the past, the LSCs were very autonomous and with One LMA, some felt they lost their voice as we consolidated our collective social media outreach. We are looking to ramp up that local communication in the future and hope to have many exciting things to share to bring more impact to our members.
We are looking for ways to increase visibility and engagement for 2018 and are looking for your input on how we can best reach and communicate with our members, supplier partners and our potential members.
