Pricing, Practice Innovation and Project Management (P3) are the hot topics of the day. Marketers, whether they know it or not, are all involved in P3, so it is important to understand the fundamentals and how they impact our day-to-day work.

Join us to hear from one of the leaders in the P3 field, Toby Brown, Chief Practice Officer at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Toby will introduce you to the key P3 concepts, but will focus on practical guidance to help legal marketers better understand law firm pricing, profitability and project management, and their role as marketing and business development tools.

Senior marketers will gain a better understanding of how pricing strategies should be employed in the proposal process. Toby Brown, Chief Practice Officer at Akin Gump

As the chief practice officer for Akin Gump, Toby works to develop creative pricing arrangements focused on meeting clients' needs. As a leading figure on pricing and legal project management, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience on pricing for legal services. He regularly meets with clients to determine the most appropriate pricing arrangements and to serve as a value-add resource. Also, in this role, Mr. Brown works with practice group leadership to identify and implement various efficiency-producing programs and projects, including legal project management, process improvement, practice innovation, alternative staffing and strategic partnering.
