Leadership Moves & Announcements highlights LMA Northeast Region members’ new members, promotions, job changes, professional achievements and personal news.  

			Wendy Bernero (New York) joined BakerMcKenzie as Head of Client Development in September. Previously, she was a Founding  Partner at Bernero & Press.
			Deborah Brightman Farone (New York) has launched Farone Advisors LLC, a consultancy specializing in marketing and communications, marketing operations and coaching. She is writing a book titled, “Best  Practices: Marketing and Business Development for Law Firms,” which will be published by PLI Books in 2018. Prior to this endeavor, Deborah was Chief Business Development and Communications Officer at Cravath. She is a past president LMA’s Metro New York Chapter and was honored with its Legacy Award, which acknowledges member contributions to the organization and commitment to furthering the profession.
			Greg Fleischmann (New York) was appointed Chief Marketing Officer at Lowenstein Sandler LLP in September. Prior to this, Greg was the Global Marketing Director at Baker McKenzie LLP in Chicago. An avid road cyclist, Greg relocated back to the Northeast.
			Jim Jarrell (Philadelphia) became Director of Business Development at Ballard Spahr LLP on October 2. Previously, Jim served as Director of Marketing & Practice Development at Stark & Stark. Jim serves on the board of the LMA Northeast Region as Treasurer-Elect.
			Teresa McCahill (Boston) was promoted from Business Development Coordinator to Business Development Senior Coordinator at Latham & Watkins.
			Kimberly McLaughlin (Boston) joined WilmerHale in July as Manager of Client Development. Previously, she was a Senior Marketing Manager at Fish & Richardson.
			Jennifer L. Smuts (Philadelphia) became the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Connolly Gallagher LLP in Wilmington, DE in August. She was the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Morris Nichols Arsht & Tunnell LLP.
			Kristen Weller (Boston) was promoted from Director of Marketing & Business Development to Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at Burns & Levinson.
