Apply Now for the 2016 LMA-LA Educational Scholarship

The Legal Marketing Association fosters the personal and professional development of its members through educational programming and networking. LMA-Los Angeles is extending this opportunity to individuals whose firms are unable to sponsor their membership, to those between jobs, and those looking to start a career in legal marketing, including college and graduate students. Therefore, LMA-LA has developed the LMA-LA Educational Scholarship program to grant up to two LMA Educational Scholarships each year.

LMA-LA is now accepting applications for our 2016 Educational Scholarship. The scholarship, valued at over $1,000, includes a one-year membership to the Legal Marketing Association, Los Angeles Chapter membership dues for 2016, and registration fees for all LMA-LA programs and events, including the annual Continuing Marketing Education (CME) conference.* 
We encourage you to apply using this application form and invite you to forward this invitation to anyone you believe meets the following selection criteria:
  • Currently employed by a law firm or professional services organization in a marketing or similar role
  • Recently employed by a law firm or professional services organization in a marketing or similar role
  • Acknowledge that if selected, your name will be made public via the LMA-LA Newsletter and other Chapter communications
Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015.  Scholarship winners will be notified of their selection on or before December 1, 2015.  Please direct any questions about this year's LMA-LA Educational Scholarship to Jessica Lewis, 2015 LMA-LA Secretary at jawlewis@akingump.com. 
*Registration for the 2016 LMA International Conference in Austin as well as any expenses associated with transportation to or parking at local LMA events are not included.
