Director of Marketing
Davis Malm D’Agostine, PC

How did you get into Legal Marketing and the Regional Conference Committee Co-Chair position?

I was working at Davis Malm for five years as a legal assistant to two real estate shareholders when the firm’s marketing and executive directors approached me and asked if I would be interested in a marketing assistant position. The marketing director was planning a long-term exit strategy, and the goal was to eventually transition me to the director position.  I welcomed the opportunity to venture into something completely different, expand on my existing skill sets, and learn about the wonderful world of legal marketing. Joining LMA was one of the first (and best) things I did after taking on the marketing assistant position.  I’ve been involved with the program committee and co-chaired the Small Firm SIG Group, and I saw the conference as another great opportunity to contribute to our Chapter.

What is your favorite aspect of LMA New England?

What I value most, especially being in a small firm, is everyone’s willingness to offer advice, share suggestions, and respond to cries for help!  There really is a camaraderie among the members, and it’s nice to have a network that you not only enjoy socializing with at LMA events, but that also acts as a trusted resource.

Why should people be excited about this year’s Regional Conference?

The LMA New England Regional Conference is always a fabulous event, so we know we have to step up our game.  Jacki, the committee, and I are up for the challenge, and we have a few exciting surprises up our sleeves.

What actor would play you in a movie?

Julianna Margulies, without a doubt. She is strong, sassy and can give a look that needs no words.

If you had a superhero power, what would it be?

Time travel.  How great would it be to foresee client issues, recognize business development opportunities that payoff sooner than later, identify industry and practice area trends, and generally prepare for any opportunities or hiccups before they arise? That would surely earn me a Super Marketer cape.

If you could live in any other period of time, when would it be?

I think it would be the overlapping period between the Golden Age of Hollywood and the Rat Pack era. My nostalgic, old soul tells me these were some pretty exciting times.
