Call for Nominations - 2016 LMA Board of Directors

The Nominating Committee has begun its annual process of determining the slate of candidates to fill open seats on the LMA Board of Directors. LMA members will ratify the slate in late August and the new board members will begin their service in January 2016. Eligible members are invited to express their interest in serving on the Board (i.e., self-nominate), or nominate others for service, using the instructions in this blog post and its attachments.

LMA seeks to fill the following voting Board positions:

  • President-Elect (3 year commitment: President-Elect in 2016, President in 2017, Immediate Past-President in 2018)
  • Treasurer-Elect (2 year commitment: Treasurer-Elect in 2016, Treasurer in 2017)
  • Three At-Large Board Members (2 year commitment: January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2017)
  • Chapter Presidents' Committee ("CPC") Chair (1 year commitment: January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2017)

Next Steps

To begin the nomination process, please review the Eligibility Criteria. If you satisfy the criteria, then complete the Expression of Interest Form. 

If you have questions, please see the FAQ document or contact me, Executive Director Betsi Roach, or another member of the Nominating Committee. From submitted Expression of Interest forms, which are due by 12:00 p.m. central on Friday, May 29, the Nominating Committee will verify eligibility and identify certain candidates to advance in the process.
