How did you get into Legal Marketing?
To be honest, it just kind of happened. I knew throughout college I wanted to be in marketing, but I always pictured myself at an agency. When I saw an open marketing position at a law firm, I was intrigued because I did not even know that marketing at a law firm existed and now I can’t really imagine myself doing anything else.
What aspect of the fellowship program are you most excited about?
I am most excited about meeting people from other firms and other areas of the industry. I want to just soak in as much as possible from people who have been doing this longer than me.
If you weren’t in Legal Marketing, what would you be doing instead?
I would definitely be working in marketing in some way, I really have a passion for it.
What is your favorite travel destination and why?
I definitely don’t have a favorite travel destination, I really prefer going to new places. The past couple years I’ve been really lucky to have traveled to different places, around the US and the world.
What actor would play you in a movie?
I have actually put a lot of thought into this before, and I think without a doubt it would have to be Casey Affleck. The resemblance is uncanny.
What was your first job?
I worked in the men’s department at Marshall’s. After just one holiday season there, I haven’t been able to look at it the same.
What is your favorite place to eat on Boston?
My absolute favorite restaurant in Boston is the Beehive, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks are all amazing. The live music every night really brings it to a different level.
What is the most inspiring speech you’ve ever heard?
I don’t know if I could pick the most inspiring speech I’ve ever heard, but Stuart Scott’s acceptance speech at the 2014 Espy’s was very powerful. When I’m looking for inspiration I usually just watch a Ted Talk, there’s one for just about every topic and is definitely a good way to get your mind going.
