Dear LMA Midwest Region Members,
As many of you heard last week, LMA international plans to sunset the Your Honor Awards, Rising Star, and Hall of Fame recognitions at the international level.
LMA Midwest Region—through its legacy chapters (Midwest, Minnesota, and Ohio)—has a rich history of recognizing individuals and firms for their professional accomplishments. In the past, members were recognized at chapter-wide Your Honor Awards receptions, which also may have included the chapter’s Hall of Fame, Rising Star, and Outstanding Service Awards. We plan to continue this tradition in 2018.
At the beginning of this year, the LMA Midwest Region Board of Directors decided it would be best to defer the 2017 Midwest Region Your Honor Awards in order to have the time and resources necessary to implement a robust program. Moving forward with this plan, a committee comprising Midwest Region members will soon be formed to plan and execute recognition programs for the LMA Midwest Region in 2018. If you are interested in volunteering, please let me know.
