While Mother Nature is figuring out whether it is winter or spring, LMA New England rolls into a busy next couple of months. Here is a look back and forward for the Chapter:

Our March lunch program featuring Gretta Rusanow, head of Citibank's Private Law Firm Advisory Group, was a resounding success. Gretta's overview of the "State of the Legal Market" was chock full of informative law firm statistics and opportunities for firms in 2016. Also in March, we had a full house at the LMA NE Your Honor Awards reception to celebrate our region's most innovative legal marketing projects of 2014-2015. Thank you to all of the firms who submitted a project for consideration. Check out this year's winners on our website. At the reception, we also had the honor of presenting the LMA NE Star Award to Tina Rutherford of K&L Gates for her outstanding volunteer service to the Chapter over the past four years. Congratulations Tina - you deserve it!

We were thrilled to see so many New England Chapter members at the LMA National Conference in Austin, and thank you to those who attended the cocktail reception we hosted with the New York and Philadelphia Chapters. Everyone from all three chapters mixed and mingled and had a great time! For Chapter SIG members who weren't able to attend, there will be combined SIG lunch program where attendees will hear a recap from folks who attended. Our City Group members are also welcome to dial in and join the conversation.

On May 11, LMA NE will partner again with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS Boston) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) for a networking event and interactive panel discussion featuring Managing Partners, Principals, and Executives from the legal, accounting, and A/E/C industries. We will hear directly from firm leadership how marketing and business development is driving value for their firms across three professional services industries. LMA New England's Charity Cornhole Tournament

Registration for LMA New England's Charity Cornhole Tournament ends tomorrow!

Get ready to toss some bean bags for a great cause! LMA NE will host a cornhole tournament at Bleacher Bar in Boston on April 26 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Chapter members and non-members are invited. Participation in tournament not required. Networking and having fun are mandatory. Surprise prize to the winning team! To register, click here.

May Evening Program - Executive Insights: Driving Growth Using Marketing & Business Development

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS Boston), the Legal Marketing Association (LMA NE), and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP Nor'easters) are joining forces again for an uncharted look at how marketing and business development drives value for firms in the Legal, Accounting, and AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industries.

Hear directly from Managing Partners, Principals, and Executives on how their firms have integrated marketing to develop and execute strategies that have resulted in the development of new services, new markets, and new clients creating topline revenue growth for their firms. Learn what qualities and attributes they think the most successful marketers possess, and come away with concrete ideas on how you can elevate the role that marketing/business development play within your organizations.
