Danielle Downing is new to the LMASE Board of Directors this year and is serving as Treasurer- Elect and the Director of Sponsorships. Danielle previously served as Birmingham's Local Steering Committee Chair in 2016.
Preparing for her role as Treasurer in 2018, Danielle is tasked with shadowing current Board Treasurer Terry Cook and learning the Region's budget and financial resources. In addition, Danielle's biggest task this year is securing and managing sponsorships for the upcoming Regional Conference in September as well as looking for sponsors to support our Local Steering Committees.
We are on a steady roll in gaining conference sponsorship commitments and want that momentum to continue. Conference sponsorships are crucial to the success of the Regional Conference as the more support we get allows us to offer more opportunities to our members and conference attendees. It's also important that our members know all the resources available in our industry and learn how to apply them to fit their firm's needs.
Some of Danielle's goals this year are to make sure our sponsors and conference partners get the most out of their sponsorships by coming up with new ways to add in extra benefits and branding opportunities at the regional conference this year.
