The Indianapolis City Group would like to thank everyone who generously supported the group’s food drive benefiting Second Helpings during the Fall Social. In addition to monetary donations, we delivered 100.9 pounds of food to the Second Helpings facility, blowing away our goal of 40 pounds! Second Helpings was chosen by the City Group because of their extensive outreach to 70 social service agencies. Sixteen percent of Indiana households are hungry or at risk of being hungry.
In addition to pride in their professional support to one another, the LMA community can also add the pride of helping a charity in central Indiana that will help hungry Hoosiers this year. We hope to build on this success at future socials.
