We've all sat through career building sessions that focus on high-level concepts. Speakers Kelly Hoey and Jennifer Johnson will make this session a highly interactive one. They will help participants unpack what they already know, identifying the gaps that need to be filled to attain success. Learn how to use your knowledge, skills and contacts - and put them down on paper - in order to reveal a career path that places you at your highest and best performance levels.
The speakers will focus on:
•Who you are right now
•Who you know right now
•Where you may want to go (and why), and
•How to find and fill any gaps on the road to success
Kelly and Jennifer will guide participants through a suggested career roadmap, highlighting the key "compass points" that contribute directly to a rewarding and satisfying career path, including:
•Credentials Plan: resume, skills building, personal and professional motivators
•Networking Plan: mapping out your network(s) for career advancement, identifying gaps in your network, prioritizing activities/efforts, locating sponsors within your network, outlining career networking opportunities
•Personal GPS Plan: honestly confronting key questions about your values, work-life balance desires and other personal drivers to ensure authenticity throughout your career.
