In her high-energy, interactive keynote, Peggy Klaus will teach the behavioral techniques essential to creating a dynamic and impactful communication style so that you can effectively influence even the most skeptical of audiences. According to Peggy, “Believing that leaders are born, not made, is like believing Serena Williams came out of the womb hitting a tennis ball, ready to win 22 Grand Slam Tournaments. Great leaders, like great athletes, become the best they can be by first learning the skills they need for success and then by relentlessly practicing them.”
Peggy Klaus has appeared on Nightline, the Today Show, and 20/20, and has been published in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune and O Magazine. She has also written two best-selling books ̶ “BRAG! The Art of Tooting Your Own Horn Without Blowing It” and “The Hard Truth About Soft Skills: Workplace Lessons Smart People Wish They’d Learned Sooner.”
In 2016 Peggy won the Stevie Awards gold for Coach of the Year for women in business and received the Stevie silver honor in 2017 for Best Leadership Management/Training Practice of the Year. She regularly coaches professionals ranging from c-Suite level executives to associates, as well as organizational teams and political candidates. Taking her message from the boardroom to the classroom, she has lectured to both students and faculty at universities across the country including: the University of California, Berkeley (Haas School of Business, Boalt School of Law, and the School of Public Health & Sciences), Harvard University’s School of Public Health, Wharton’s Executive MBA Program, the University of Virginia and Pepperdine University School of Law.
