The Legal Business Development Director is responsible for the business development of Prince Lobel as a general practice law firm, its multiple practice groups and its attorneys.
- Coordinate and monitor individual business plans.
- Coordinate and monitor practice area business plans.
- Develop and promote cross-marketing opportunities.
- Identify new markets.
- Assess and assist in management of client relationships.
- Instrumental in strategic planning.
- Coach attorneys in business development.
- Coach attorneys in networking skills
- Prepare annual firm-wide marketing budget; work closely with Department Chairs in preparing annual business/marketing plans.
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or JD is desirable.
- Substantial law firm experience is required.
- Deep knowledge of Boston legal market and business community.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong teambuilding skills.
- Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work “hands-on” as required.
