The Legal Business Development Director is responsible for the business development of Prince Lobel as a general practice law firm, its multiple practice groups and its attorneys.  

  • Coordinate and monitor individual business plans.
  • Coordinate and monitor practice area business plans.
  • Develop and promote cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Identify new markets.
  • Assess and assist in management of client relationships.
  • Instrumental in strategic planning.
  • Coach attorneys in business development.
  • Coach attorneys in networking skills
  • Prepare annual firm-wide marketing budget; work closely with Department Chairs in preparing annual business/marketing plans. 

Specific Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or JD is desirable.
  • Substantial law firm experience is required.
  • Deep knowledge of Boston legal market and business community.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong teambuilding skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work “hands-on” as required.
