Law firms are often sponsors of industry related conferences. Some of these sponsorships include a space in the vendor showcase. This session will review the best practices to maximize conference sponsorships - including negotiating added value, preconference planning, attorney participation, vendor showcase dos and don'ts, and post conference follow up.
 
Speaker:
Brenda Stewart is the President of Stewart Marketing & Consulting. She brings more than twenty-seven years of legal experience to Stewart Marketing & Consulting. Her "inside knowledge" of law firm administration, management and marketing is combined with "outside perspective" to help a wide range of clients advance their strategic initiatives and goals. Having worked in such roles as Executive Director and most recently, Director of Marketing and Client Services for a southeast firm with 180 attorneys, she is intimately familiar with the challenges faced by internal marketing departments and attorneys. Brenda is a regular speaker for the South Carolina Bar, has presented for the Association of Legal Administrator, the South Carolina Chapter of ALA, and the Legal Marketing Association Southeast Chapter. She also serves as a non-lawyer member of the South Carolina Commission on Lawyer Conduct. Stewart Marketing & Consulting works with clients in the areas of strategic planning, public relations, associate training, attorney coaching and marketing services.
