It is with sadness that we announce our friend and colleague, Ian Turvill, has passed away. Ian was an integral member of our legal marketing community and an active LMA leader.
Ian was the Chief Marketing Officer for Freeborn & Peters in Chicago as well as an adjunct faculty member at the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Throughout his years in LMA, Ian served in several volunteer positions including co-chair of the first Tech Conference/Midwest, member of the Education Advisory Committee, host of the Official LMA Podcast, and the chair of the Chicago City Group. In 2016, Ian served as Treasurer-Elect of the LMA International Board of Directors and as Treasurer in 2017. He recently was elected to the be the Midwest Chapter president-elect in 2018.
Ian was an energetic contributor to LMA and its community, often sharing his knowledge through presentations, mentoring and animated conversations. His company and kindness will be sorely missed.
