What Happens in Vegas Doesn't Have to Stay in Vegas:
Annual Conference Wrap Up
This year's LMA International Conference hosted over 1,500 attendees at the stunning Aria Resort in the Las Vegas desert from Monday, March 27 through Wednesday, March 29.
With over 60 attendees, the CMO Summit pre-conference program gave senior legal marketing leaders the chance to get hands-on with client journey mapping. The indispensable pre-conference LMA Quickstart™ presented core competencies and best practices for those with less than five years of experience working inside a law firm. Thanks to many of our long-time LMA members for their commitment to sharing their knowledge and growing the profession.
Keynote speaker Zoë Chance is known as the doctor of influence and persuasion. Much of the Yale School of Management assistant professor of marketing's work centers around how to set up environments that help people make the right choices - for their own lives, as well as their company brands.
Following that inspirational kick off, more than 120 of our colleagues and friends presented more than 70 presentations so we all could have an even greater impact at our firms, at our companies and in our own careers.
But learning wasn't the only great part about the 2017 international conference. "Viva Las Networking" kicked off in high gear at the opening reception and continued throughout, from the incredible pool party to private dinners and more - up and down The Strip.
LMA International also handed out 34 prestigious Your Honor Awards, recognizing excellence and creativity in legal marketing. We inducted four new members into our Hall of Fame in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to legal marketing and the LMA.
