Business Development Manager
Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP is seeking a Business Development Manager, who will work closely with Firm management to formulate, direct and execute the Firm's business development initiatives under the direction of the Firm's Business Development Partner and Practice Group Leaders. The Business Development Manager will support practice groups and attorneys in developing and delivering effective marketing programs.
- Collaborate with Firm Leaders to ensure marketing plans integrate with and support firm-wide marketing strategies, and to develop and implement marketing plans that focus and support business development efforts and cross selling. Conduct market research and analysis as needed.
- Identify and pursue profile raising opportunities in industry and business publications. Make recommendations regarding participation or membership in industry publications and organizations.
- Serve as project manager to the RFP process from conception to follow through (soliciting, collecting and organizing content, ensuring critical elements are submitted by deadline and tracking outcomes) to ensure efficiency and quality. Oversee marketing materials, including deal case lists, practice area descriptions, and website content.
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minium 5 years' experience in law firm or professional services environment.
- Results oriented team player with ability to develop deep knowledge of business and resources for the practice areas.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Organized and self-directed approach to work; ability to manage multiple priorities; detail-oriented.
