Pricing in the Legal Industry     

Pricing – one of the textbook four P's of marketing – has quickly become the priority of most major law firms today. Addressing this component of the marketing function presents tremendous opportunity for law firms and marketers alike as they compete for client work and face increasing requests for budgets and alternative fee arrangements. On June 17 you will hear first hand from one of the industry’s thought leaders – Stuart Dodds – about everything from the business case for pricing to the role of Marketing to technical steps on how to set the price and get the price. 

The author of "Smarter Pricing, Smarter Profit," Stuart is a pioneer in the industry having led the global pricing function at Linklaters out of their London, UK office starting in 2008 prior to moving to develop and lead the function at Baker & Mackenzie out of Chicago, as of 2011. 

Following Stuart's presentation we will move to a fireside chat where Canadian Lawyer’s Karen Lorimer will discuss the topic more in depth.
