Are you interested in volunteering for LMA? The LMA Mid-Atlantic Region has several opportunities for you to serve. There are many reasons to get involved – from giving back to the organization, to expanding your leadership skills, gaining industry knowledge and creating an international professional network and lifelong friends.
We have opportunities to serve on the 2020 Local Steering Committees (LSC) in Baltimore, Capital and The Virginias. Available positions on the 2020 Local Steering Committees include:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Member At Large (Sponsorship, Programs/Events, Membership, Operations)
To be eligible for a position, a candidate must be a member in good standing and a member of LMA and the Local/Region for at least one year.
We are looking for members who will bring creativity and passion to the planning and implementation of key initiatives that will help advance the Local and Region.
Board terms begin on January 1, 2020, and run for one, two or three years depending on position. To begin the Local Steering Committee nominating process, please review the eligibility criteria and the Regional Board and Local Steering Committee Job Descriptions.
