What was your first job? I was a receptionist and therapist at a local chiropractic office.
What would you be doing if you weren't in your current job? I’d be an elementary school teacher.
What is currently on your iPod? Anything country or that I can dance around to in the kitchen or car.
Where is your favorite place to go to relax? Hocking Hills and any hot, sunny beach.
What is your favorite TV show? Favorite movie? Fixer Upper and The Walking Dead—Home Alone (secret’s out!)
What is your favorite cuisine? Mexican
If you were stranded on a desert island, who or what would you want to have with you? My husband & 2 girls, sunscreen, matches & sippy cups.
Who are the most important people in your life? My husband Greg, 2 daughters Madelyn & Audrey, my parents and my closest friends.
What is the first thing you read in the morning? Cereal boxes for my girls and then the daily ‘Good Morning from CNN’ emails because I can’t fit the news into my TV lineup anymore.
How did you get into legal marketing? It was a complete fluke! My job with Vorys serendipitously landed into my lap just at the right time and I had never heard of legal marketing before. I came from a world of motorcycles and riding classes to a 100-year old law firm.
What is the best thing about your job? Interfacing with our clients and attorneys and making them happy through professional development programs and fun client-service initiatives.
What advice would you offer a new entrant to the world of legal marketing? Get to know the jobs of those on your team and be ready and eager to learn. Don’t be afraid to ask questions of your team members or your attorneys.
