Since the #LMASE16 Conference took place in Orlando this year, just minutes away from the Pulse night club where 49 lives were lost, the LMASE Board and the LMASE Conference Committee decided to contribute to the OneOrlando Fund to support the Pulse victims and their families. With this in mind, during the opening remarks, LMASE members participated in the #KeepDancingOrlando movement by dancing and contributing to the cause. More than $900 was raised for the organization and on September 23rd, the fund started being distributed in Orlando.
LMASE Board member, Jessica Todd, choreographed the dance in advance and encouraged attendees to join in the movement in remembrance. We are thankful for our members who participated in the dance, donated money, and to the great community and the support that was received for this important cause!
