October 8th LMA Program - Preparing RFPs That Win

By Kim Kaminski posted 09-19-2013 13:55

As anyone who has worked in legal marketing knows, there is a lot that’s broken about the process of responding to RFPs. Peter Darling, a legal marketer and consultant from San Francisco, has prepared winning responses to RFPs from everyone from Shell Oil and Whirlpool to the governments of Singpore, Korea and Ireland. In his presentation, he’ll introduce a very new, very different way of thinking about and preparing RFP responses – one that actually works.

Topics include:
•  How RFP programs really operate
•  Managing the attorneys you work with
•  Whether to respond to an RFP at all
•  Who really wins RFP competitions – and why
•  The importance of design and images
•  The use of win themes
•  Preparing a client-centric proposal
•  Incorporating strategy into your presentation

The goal of an RFP response, of course, is to win the business. Peter’s presentation shows you how.
