How did you get into legal marketing?
Completely by chance! While attending Drexel University, I was given the opportunity to intern in the Marketing Department of a Philadelphia law firm. I loved it and decided to explore my options in the legal marketing arena.
Describe one of your best experiences in legal marketing?
Anytime I am involved in a winning pitch or RFP, I get excited. When my Firm wins, I win. I love being a small part in our Firm victories.
What is one of your greatest challenges when it comes to legal marketing?
It is difficult to keep attorneys engaged in and excited about marketing, particularly when there are not immediate results from their marketing activities.
Do you have any words of wisdom to those who are new to the field?
(1) Smile and be approachable to everyone in your firm; (2) develop a tough skin; (3) put a candy jar in your office --- you will entice more people into your office, which will spark conversations and relationships.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I am a reality television junkie. I can’t stop.
