2015 LMA New England Annual Conference
November 12-13, 2015

Call for Presenters
Each year, the New England Regional Conference brings together approximately 200 of the nation’s top legal marketing and business development professionals, including senior leaders, entry-level specialists, consultants and service providers, for a day and a half of learning and networking. Over the years, the New England Chapter has earned a reputation as having one of the best regional conferences in the Legal Marketing Association, and we are seeking speakers for this year’s premier event consistent with this track record of excellence.
Planning for our November 12th - 13th conference is well underway. The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency – Boston located at 1 Avenue de Lafayette.The theme is “What is Your WOW Factor?" Consistent with this theme, we are seeking presenters who can address ways for marketing and business development professionals to help their firms and attorneys stand out among the competition, succeed at winning new business, and become industry trendsetters. Our goal is to provide the best learning experience for attendees and to have a range of programming that:
- Addresses current trends in legal marketing and business development;
- Presents knowledgeable and dynamic speakers who engage the audience;
- Provides useful takeaways for attendees;
- Addresses people who are junior, mid-level or senior; and
- Addresses issues of small, medium and large firms.
We are in search of sessions that will be relevant to an audience seeking to increase value for their clients, both internally and externally. Programs should be solution-oriented, proactive in nature, and innovative, focusing on legal marketing (including business development and communications) as a vital part of the law firm’s business landscape.
We will have four breakouts with three concurrent sessions per breakout during the day on November 13. Each session will be 55 minutes in length.
Proposed sessions will be structured using one of the following formats:
- Panels: two or three speakers with a moderator in a conversational format
- Workshops: led by one or two people and highly interactive, and will include worksheets and other in-session activities
- Case Studies: led by one or two people who will present, by giving real-life examples, a study on an idea that was brought to fruition.

- Include all of the information requested.
- Please keep in mind this is an educational conference. The speaking opportunity should not be used to sell a product or service.
- Be specific. Tell us how you will engage and educate your audience. What takeaways will they gain from your session? Will there be a toolkit that attendees can take to their firms and implement ‐‐ immediately? Will the session be interactive?
