In conjunction with our Annual Summer Soiree on August 8, 2013, we will present the 2nd Annual Metropolitan New York LMA Awards. These awards will seek to honor individuals and groups of members who have achieved distinction through service to our chapter over the course of 2012. The categories are:

• Committee of the Year for 2012
• Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Year for 2012
• Thought Leader of the Year for 2012 - for outstanding contributor to the chapter and industry through writing, speaking or other substantive contribution
• The Susan Benjamin Legacy Award for 2012- for longstanding contributor who has left a distinguishable mark on the chapter
• Future Leader of the Year for 2012 - for outstanding contributions by a junior member likely to hold a future leadership position in the chapter
• Member of the Year for 2012 - our top honor, for outstanding contributions by an individual member

All current members in good standing of the Metropolitan New York LMA are eligible for these prestigious awards, and everyone is encouraged to submit nominations. You may also nominate yourself, a Committee, or a SIG in which you participated.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 14th at 5:00 p.m. EST.

 Awards will be presented at the Annual Summer Soiree on August 8th.

 Metropolitan New York LMA Awards Judges
