Where did you grow up? Akron, OH

What was your first job? When I was 15 years old, I started my first job taking care of puppies and kittens at a pet store in Fairlawn, Ohio.

What would you be doing if you weren't in your current job? Getting lost on a road trip, getting list hiking, or getting lost in a museum!

What is currently on your iPod? A whole bunch of stuff: podcasts (Crucial Conversations, Leading Change, etc.), a little Latin/Hispanic dance, some electronic, and indie folk/folk rock.

Where is your favorite place to go to relax? My gym, lifting weights.

What is your favorite TV show? Arrested Development.

What is your favorite cuisine? Mexican.

If you were stranded oin a desert island, who or what would you want to have with you? Starbucks.

What is the first thing you read in the morning? It SHOULD be the weather (I find ways to never dress accordingly).

How did you get into legal marketing? My first professional job was in marketingg at a company that employed attorneys who provided specialized legal lobbying advice for the federal, state, and local governments across the U.S. and Canada. I loved the atmosphere, concept, and nature of my work and went from there.

What is the best thing about your job? Driving change and impact in the digital marketing strategy at the firm: CRM, marketing automation and email, content and online user experience, paid search, etc.

What advice would you offer a new entrant to the world of legal marketing? Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions; many people are not willing - but are excited - to help new entrants gain exposure and expand their knowledge of the industry.
