How long have you been in legal marketing and how did you get into it?
I started at G&S over nine years ago in order to utilize my technical and design presentations skills.  Interestingly enough, I worked with the business development department on a variety of projects throughout my years at the firm. In 2011, I became a Legal Recruitment and Business Development Assistant, where I split my time working for both departments. I have always been interested in marketing, so when an opening became available in the business development department, it seemed like a logical step to advance in my career.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is the opportunity to learn new things, including how best to balance competing deadlines while delivering a quality product.  I also really enjoy meeting and networking with so many talented and smart people in our industry.

What was your favorite holiday present that you received as a child?
One year, my parents gave me four tickets to a New Edition concert. They even rented a limo and I got to invite three of my closest friends.  That was the best present of my life.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?
I love spending time with my family.  On any given day, you can find me with a family member.

Do you have any pet peeves?
Yes.  People who think they know what I'm thinking without asking me what I’m actually thinking.

If you were to be stuck on a desert island, what would be the one item that you would want to have?
I would want to have matches because they serve a number of purposes. You can use them to light a fire, to cook food, to keep warm, to boil water, etc.

What is your favorite candy bar?
Almond Joy and York Peppermint Pattie are a tie in my book.

What was the last book that you read?
How People Tick by Mike Leibling.

What is your favorite movie?
I don’t really have a favorite, but I enjoy historical films; something along the lines of The Other Boleyn Girl and Girl with a Pearl Earring.  And nothing beats a good comedy.  I always like a good laugh.

What actress would play you in a movie about your life?
Regina King – I think she's a great actress with lots of potential.
