Acquisitions

BIG congratulations to Rachel Repke Thompson and husband Jack, who welcomed their first baby, Audrey Rose, on Sunday, February 22. Audrey Rose was born 6 lbs 10 oz and 20.25 inches. Rachel is Client Development Manager at Baker McKenzie and Special Events Chair for LMA Midwest. Jack a consultant for A.T. Kearney. Mom and baby Audrey are doing fine. Mergers

We hear that former LMA member, but all-around great person and legal marketer, Andrea Crews, director of marketing and business development at Levenfeld Pearlstein, got engaged on September 23 to Ken Maciejewski, an engineer for Parker Hannifin. Andrea tells us she is absolutely thrilled making plans for her August 1st wedding at a Catholic ceremony in Riverside followed by a reception in Oak Brook. Lula, 10, and Vaughn, 5, are very excited. Congrats to Amy Jean, director of marketing and business development at Goldberg Kohn Ltd and last year’s Chicago City Group Co-Chair, has announced her engagement to Chris Oldiges, an audit supervisor at ITW. Chris popped the question at sunset on Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, FL with Amy’s family on hand. The happy couple are getting married in September. We heard recently from an old LMA Midwest friend, Judith Truman, formerly marketing director at Marshall Gerstein & Borun, who moved back to Columbus, Ohio. Judith informs us that she got married last September to Mr. McDonald, a conductor, music director and trombone player. Where are you guys? 2013 Hall of Famer, Sydney Iglitzen, is the 2015 president of LMA Midwest and was also president in 2008. She sat on the 2007-2009 and  2011-2014 Boards of Directors, was also the LMA Midwest program chair for many years, creating city groups and programming in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and SE Michigan and was former chair of the PR Committee. She was formerly the first director of marketing and BD for three law firms, was the first public relations director for a major IP law firm and now consults on BD, marketing and PR for law firms. Sydney has been a Your Honor Awards co-chair for the past few years including the 2014 YHA and was chair of the 2013 LMA Midwest Conference.
