LMA Luncheon: Pricing tactics, models and levers

Pricing – one of the four P’s of marketing – is one of the bigger challenges facing law firms today. An understanding of pricing strategies, levers and models is essential for a variety of roles in the marketing and business development department. Senior marketers and business developers creating their firm’s strategies and plans need to be aware of how pricing strategy is affected at all touch points – from sales to proposals/pitches to client account management.

Business development teams delivering on proposals and pitches need to guide their internal clients on staffing and fee arrangements. Client account and feedback teams need to understand how client communication and matter management play an important role in the firm’s profitability.

At our June 16 luncheon, Gowling WLG’s Manager of Pricing Strategy Andreea Axani will walk attendees through the foundations of pricing strategy and tactics – touching on the different levers that impact profitability of a matter, firm policies and the role of legal project management.
In the latter half of the session Andreea will work through case studies using excerpts from RFPs.
