LMA Ohio is thrilled to kick off Cans for Community, a canned food drive beginning in May and running through October. We will collect canned goods at all LMA Ohio programs and events, starting with our May “Bringing Nationals Home” Roundtables in May and concluding with our Fifth Annual Legal Practice Development Institute, Oct. 27 in Columbus.
We will present the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank, Greater Cleveland Foodbank and Mid-Ohio Foodbank each with a donation of the canned goods we collected at our events in each respective city during the year.
In addition to doing a good deed and helping out a needy family, there’s a little something in it for you, too. When you bring a canned good to an event, you will receive an entry into a raffle to be held this fall for the following prizes:
- $100 American Express gift card
- $75 American Express gift card
- $50 American Express gift card
- $25 American Express gift card
